The Historic Blue Angel Hotel Lexington Ave, An Ascend Collection - New York

Luxurious and fairly clean place, really helpful staff with the best customer service and friendliest staff anywhere. Excellent location, at a walking distance from Rockefeller Center. Positioned in the nice safe area. Nice restaurant, for a late dinner.

High standard queen room with air con. Bonus point for an electronic key card, multi-channel television and a writing desk. Helpful and attentive staff and quick to respond.

The rooms were alwasy tidy being on a perfect Midtown location near Bloomingdale's.

Excellently located in the Upper Midtown area close to the e and 6 metro lines at Lexington Avenue. Even though the room faced onto the street, it was quiet. The room was comfort-cooled which was very welcome on the hot, humid days of my visit. A restaurant (The Midtown) is across the road and is very convenient for breakfast at a reasonable price.

The location was just right for this NYC visit.

Location is excellent. Only a few minutes from 5th Avenue and MoMa. Subway very close as well. Size of room was pretty good as well for NY standards. However, it could get a little stuffy if 2 share the room.

I arrived early in the morning and as expected could not get to the room until 3. I understand that rooms need to be cleaned etc. but it would have been great if there would have been some effort made to accommodate me earlier than 3 after a night flight. Also, I was put into a room at mezzanine level which was fine. However when I mentioned I preferred room somewhere else, the receptionist assured me that it was a really quite room, which is simply not true as you can hear every single word spoken at the reception.

We were greeted by the lovely Flavia from the front desk. She was super helpful, as well as the other concierge staff. They were very welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect, East 55th Street just a few blocks away from central park and other major places to visit. The room had a fridge, a safe, nice Sony Bravia Tv, and very comfortable bed. If we come back to New York we will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!!

My wife and I found the Carvi to be a very friendly place to stay. The staff went out of their way to help you and we found the rooms, although a bit small, to be very clean and up to date. The Television worked fine and had a great many channels to choose from and the bathroom was clean and spacious.

The few things we did not like were the small hallways, whichmade it difficult to carry luggage and the crowded reception area.

My stay at the Carvi for one night was great. It was clean, comfortable, stylish, and priced right. It had everything I needed for my overnight business stay. And, the pillows and bed were very comfortable. Great.

Staying at the historic blue angel hotel lexington ave, ascend hotel collection was such a great experience! The location is perfect for exploring, and my queen room was spacious with great storage. Loved that they provided facecloths and a makeup mirror. The staff were super friendly and helped with bag storage after checkout.

Stylish and clean hotel, lovely location in a great neighborhood. Large room with good sized bed, the sheets were n't changed and great value for money. Good food, very amiable and thoughtful staff with the best customer service and friendliest staff anywhere.
